Guest Relations Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To be an ambassador of the company and be aware of all VIPs staying in the apartment.
- To offer a warm welcome to all guests and organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs.
- To personally greet and escort the guests and ensure that they will enjoy their stay by offering the finest personal service.
- Identify and explain apartment features to guests; supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest.
- Process and secure any kind of payment.
- To manage any guest complaint in a professional manner by resolving it and making sure the guest is fully satisfied , and process all guest requests and relay messages to the relevant department.
- To share daily activity highlights with the manager and the team for better communication.
- To respect the privacy of the guests and maintain the confidentiality of the information.
- To be aware of and to report all guest comments or complaints.
- To check the pre-arrival and departure report and to ensure check-out times are respected.
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; protect company assets.
QUALIFICTIONS:
- Previous experience as a Guest Relations or Receptionist in a certain hotel with wide range knowledge and skills in customer service and customer interaction.
- Having a driver’s license is a plus factor.
QUALITIES:
- Enthusiastic, dynamic, spontaneous and empathic
- A high level of personal maturity is vital for this position who can easily adapt and cope with stress and pressure
- At ease in a multi-cultural environment and a good team player
- Proficient and confident in speaking English and additional language such as Arabic is an advantage.
- Flexible to changes, manages time efficiently and good prioritization skill.
