CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CONCIERGE SALES)
JOB PURPOSE
Join Arabian Adventures as a Customer Service Representative and be part of an international and multilingual team that works hard to deliver amazing holidays and experiences. You will genuinely enjoy pro-actively talking to our partners giving them the latest Arabian Adventures product information and promoting our experiences to achieve sales targets. Your determination to solve problems and provide great service will be essential.
Job Outline
- You will be able to develop strong relationships with both our internal and external partners to ensure a seamless experience for our guests
• Promote the sales of Arabian Adventures products through hotels and travel agencies.
• Realize our partner’s full sales potential, building strong partnerships with regular visits, training sessions, product promotions, etc. to ensure a full understanding of AA products.
• Evaluate and report to the Senior Sales Executive any partner issues, trade and competitor activity, to ensure the company maintains market awareness at all times.
• Prepare, deliver and collect monthly sales invoices and payments within a timely and audit compliant manner.
• Acquire new accounts by reaching out to leads
• Strong administration skills with the ability to learn and adapt to our in-house systems
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 10 Years schooling or equivalent.
- Experience in customer services/sales roles in the travel/tourism industry
- Valid UAE driving license or an international license that can be converted
- Sound knowledge of the UAE would be an advantage
- Ability to thrive in a team environment
- Able to cope with ever-changing tasks and long, varied working hours
- Competent with technology and experienced in quickly and effectively learning new systems and
Equipment
- Fantastic communication, persuading, influencing, learning & researching skills
- Valid UAE guiding licenses would be an advantage (specific for tour guides)
- Strong verbal & written English - additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Japanese and Russian would be an advantage)
SALARY & BENEFITS
We offer an attractive tax-free salary, paid in Dirhams, the local currency of the UAE. The Dirham is linked to the Special Drawing Right of the International Monetary Fund. It has been held constant against the US dollar since the end of 1980 at a mid-rate of approximately US$1= Dh3.66.
